when: Sat, April 13, 2013

where: Harold And Jean Lambert Recital Hall

time: 7:00PM

Tuatha Dea: One of those wonderfully unique bands it is difficult to describe, but you know them when you hear them. From simple rhythms grew an elaborate repertoire of material -- traditional Celtic ballads, blood-stirring tribal pieces, rock covers, original tunes. What began as a drum circle has morphed into something special. A very organic connection to the music they create makes Tuatha Dea addicting.

Joining Tuatha Dea will be Australian Wendy Rule.

Wendy Rule: Wild, passionate and empowering, Australian Visionary Songstress Wendy Rule, weaves together music, mythology and ritual to take her audience on an otherworldly journey of depth and passion. Drawing on her deep love of Nature and lifelong fascination with the worlds of Faerie and Magic, Wendy's songs combine irresistible melodies with rich aural textures and a rare personal honesty.

An evening not to be missed!

Pre show entertainment includes Belly Dancing by Dendarah.

All who attend will get a free digital copy of Tuatha Dea's new album, The Tribe, along with a cover mp3 of Sympathy for the Devil, if they leave an email address at the merchandise table. No one will be spammed, it is just to send you a link to download the album, which is scheduled to be out next month.
