About the Job

Administrative Assistant Nature of Work: This position is a full-time position and includes a benefits package. The Administrative Assistant has the responsibility of supporting the Executive Director and staff, interacting with clients and families, interacting with agency volunteers, receiving and assigning all phone calls, ordering of clerical and administrative supplies, data entry, entry of financial data and various other administrative duties to include but not limited to: Qualifications: • High School Diploma • Minimum of three years’ experience interacting with families • Effective communication skills, both oral and written • Reliable transportation • Knowledge and experience in basic office software to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook • Excellent interpersonal skills Duties: • Greeting clients and families in a friendly, professional manner and providing support as needed • Acting Editor of quarterly agency newsletter and manager of the agency’s social media outlets • Enters financial data into a donor-based software package • Types all correspondence, documents and reports as requested and approved by the Executive Director • Acting Volunteer Coordinator, providing an annual training on child abuse and working with victims of child abuse as well as scheduling volunteers with clients receiving services from the CAC. • Assist in professional training opportunities as requested and attend training opportunities as requested by the Executive Director • Participate in the agency’s school-based prevention/intervention program • Maintain HIPAA compliance Benefits include: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, 403b Retirement Program, Paid Annual Leave and Sick Leave, Paid holidays and training opportunities
